The VTCT Level 3 Award in Healthy Eating and Well Being for the Complementary Therapy Client is a knowledge based qualification that will enhance your career as a complementary therapist.

Aimed at qualified therapists this qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the role and sources of nutrients required for a balanced diet to maintain good health and to provide you with the skills to promote healthy eating in your everyday practice as a complementary therapist.

Entry Requirements

This VTCT qualification is aimed at Level 3 qualified complementary or beauty therapists or those currently undertaking such qualifications.

How long does the course take?

The course includes two non-consecutive days classroom based training and you will also be required to undertake some guided home study outside these hours.

To complete this qualification you will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence which fulfils the necessary criteria as set out by the awarding body VTCT. No exam or practical assessments are required although several case studies will be requested to enhance the classroom based learning undertaken.

You will be required to wear a tunic and adhere to an appropriate dress code; this will be discussed with your tutor prior to starting the course.  Other study materials may be desirable for some students and again these can be discussed with your tutor and advice and recommendations will be given.
