The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Indian Head Massage is a recently updated vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a complementary therapist.
During the course you will develop a range of practical skills enabling you to you to prepare the client for a personalised treatment through the effective use of consultation skills.
You will learn how to safely provide the relaxing and stress relieving treatment of Indian head massage to a high level of occupational ability and how to adapt the treatment to suit the individual client’s needs. You will also develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and how to effectively promote and sell products and services.
This VTCT qualification has no prerequisites although prior experience in other complementary or beauty therapies is an advantage.
How long does the course take?
The course includes six days classroom based training and you will also be required to undertake some guided home study outside these hours.
To complete the qualification you are required to sit one external exam paper set by VTCT and successfully complete three practical assessments. The time for the completion of these elements is included in the six days.

You will be required to wear a tunic and adhere to an appropriate dress code; this will be discussed with your tutor prior to starting the course. Other study materials may be desirable for some students and again these can be discussed with your tutor and advice and recommendations will be given.

£595 (inc VAT) which includes a VTCT registration fee, course materials and multiple choice exam paper.
