Aimed specifically at qualified complementary therapists, this qualification provides a progression route which will enable you to add additional techniques for treatment application to your existing repertoire whilst further developing your knowledge of the theories and practices for advance applications of reflexology.

To be eligible for registration, it is a requirement that you are already qualified with a Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in reflexology and ideally be working as a complementary therapy practitioner.

What does this qualification cover?

Designed to develop your knowledge, understanding and practical skills of a range of advanced reflexology techniques which can be integrated into your regular practise. These include hand, facial, auricular and vertical reflexology, foot reading and techniques to support fertility, maternity and endocrine balance.

You will be required to undertake some guided home study as well as the completion of 36 documented case studies.

The following mandatory units also form part of the qualification:

  • Interpersonal skills for the complementary therapist
  • Advanced anatomy and physiology for the complementary therapist

Who supports these qualifications?

These qualifications are regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and have been developed collaboratively with employers, professional associations and key stakeholders in the complementary therapy sector. Because of this, the knowledge, skills and competencies gained will provide the best possible opportunity for progression into employment.
